RETIRED MINISTERS AND MISSIONARIES OFFERING ENVELOPES are in the pew racks. This offering is a tangible
way of providing emergency assistance in times of crisis, and showing appreciation for their many years of service.
NEW STAINED-GLASS ADDITION: Check out the new stained-glass window in the downstairs chapel, courtesy of the
craftsmanship of Mike Parker. Thanks, Mike, for this wonderful addition to our church building.
CHRISTMAS CARD DISTRIBUTION BOXES have been set up in the vestry for your use if you would like to save
postage on Christmas cards for our church family. Please pick up the cards that have been left for you!
CHOIR REHEARSALS: There will be no adult choir rehearsals on Christmas or New Year’s Eve. Rehearsals will
resume on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. CHIME CHOIR: December 16th is the last rehearsal for this year and the
month of January. Chime Choir rehearsals will resume in February to prepare Easter music.
PLEASE NOTE! WHITE CROSS REQUEST: Envelopes may be given to Wandah Clark or left in the church office. Only
a few more are needed to meet our quota. We can send this off as soon as they are all collected. Thank you for your
“GIVE THANKS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART.” Winston and I certainly have very grateful hearts for the Love, Prayers,
Cards, and Flowers from our Church Family. The Thanksgiving dinners were perfect, as all that found their way to our
table. All so delicious and lovingly given and received. Hopefully and prayerfully we will be back to worship with you in
the New Year. The Devotional Booklet has been a spiritual journey for us also. Thank you for all who
participated. Mary W. Greaton
ASSOCIATE PASTOR CANDIDATE: The Search Committee has concluded its search and is recommending that the
church call Nathan Blanchard of West Rutland, Vermont to be our Associate Pastor of Children, Youth, and Adults.
Nate will be here on Dec. 27-28 for folks to meet and get to know him. There will be a special Church Business
Meeting on Sunday Jan. 4, 2015 to vote on extending him a call.
